Pros

The salary and benefits compensation is competitive. I have had a positive experience with the colleagues on my team and that I work with regularly.

Cons

There is no diversity and inclusion initiative and the company has been resistant to efforts to develop one. There is no diversity and inclusion professional in the HR department and no required training for managers and HR. Through my own experience and those shared with me by colleagues, I know that HR has a track record for failing to appropriately respond to employee concerns related to bias and discrimination. Employees of color fear retaliation for speaking up about bias and discrimination. This concern has been brought to the attention of executive leadership and no action has been taken yet. There is also a history of failing to promote/pay qualified employees of color. As part of the re-organization of the company post-merger, huge cuts were made to employee programs like wellness. It has become obvious that the company currently values profit over their own people.

Pros

The team was great to work with and the general work environment was hard to beat

Cons

It felt like sales and upper management completely dropped the ball with our product. We had what could have been a large success in the market but we were too ignored to really push ourselves towards new customers. Pretty much the whole team was laid off as a result.
