Pros
The people I worked with were some of the best coworkers I've ever had. I still see some of them often.
Cons
Upper management talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. They talk all the time about questioning the status quo, innovating, wanting to help employees grow etc, but in reality they are very stuck in their processes, are not thinking about the long term growth of employees, and are close minded. Going to lunch as a team monthly does not fix deeper organizational issues. As a side note, they were extremely hesitant to let people work from home at the start of the pandemic, and only relented when higher managers told all employees that they can work from home. When another leader individually asked their employees to work from home, and expressed concern for them, mine sent out a message late at night saying that because they have the bathrooms cleaned nightly and they put up signs to remind people to wash their hands, the office was a safe place. This is an example of the closed-mindedness of management.
