Pros

They offered great medical benefits. A first job where I was encouraged to call out when sick.

Cons

So I joined up as Apprentice, thinking I would be trading lower pay for the experience. Well, I was definitely wrong about that. After the first 3 months of training, all of us trainees were kinda dropped on project managers who did not know what to do with us. At that time I tried to reach out to the assigned project manager letting them know what I had been doing for the week to try to see if I could get some form of direction from them, which I got no response at all. After about a month of that, we were put back into training for another three months and then asked if we were ready to be put on projects. With a yes, we've been ready for a couple of months, don't know why we were put back into training. Then we were getting interviewed by different project managers and learning about different projects. When I found a project I thought I would have been good for and asked about it, I was told I'm being reserved for a specific client. So I dropped it and then when I was finally told I was officially going with the client I spent 2 months being told to watch more Udemy Courses. Then they started trying to get me on a project finally being told weekly that I'm going be put on a project. then they ask me about my professional experience which I responded with I'm fresher/Apprentice and the project manager told me I can't be a fresher/Apprentice we need professional experience. After trying to tweak my resume to get me on a project for 2 months I was let go. An entire year wasted hoping this apprenticeship would give me the experience to become a better developer.
