I learned a lot from my experience working for Infosys, but maybe not what I thought I would. - Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) Infosys Employee Review

Pros

- The company has tons of employees and normally they will seek someone who can assist you if you are having trouble. - They are willing to do what they can to give you a chance to start your career. As most people in IT know, many positions require experience even if they are entry-level.

Cons

- Low pay for the type of work you are doing; doing the same type of work almost anywhere else (especially as a full-time employee) will pay better. - Uncertain living expectations; depending on contracts you may be expected to move anywhere within the country within days, and you will need to pay for this upfront. Be sure to keep all receipts as they are terrible about reimbursing for things that they do not have multiple proof of purchase artifacts for. They also have limits to how much they reimburse which you have to find on your own. - They do not help very much with career advancement. They have certain classes you can take that give you badges, but these classes often feel like a waste of time as much of what you need to learn on a job is gained through experience. Your manager is the main person that determines the job opportunities you receive and they are normally at the exact same level you are currently working.

Pros

The co workers were nice.

Cons

Low salary Terrible company politics Made fake promises around h1b filing but had to get exceptions and so much follow up and stuff to get it approved. Most managers dont give a s**** about your well being at all and they dont take your side when you are working with clients. If your client is miserable then your life is also miserable. The HR is also useless and incompetent for the most part. You cant even get screens and other equipments for your work. You need to go through ten rounds of some dumb approvals and what not and then even after that its not guaranteed. All the benefits I got were because I had good relations with my manager but this shouldnt be the case. Every employee should be treated equally.
