Pros

It was a foot in the door and I got some experience but it was at a price to my professional confidence

Cons

Worst experience I ever had. The oppressive environment and the hierarchy was miserable and hard on the American self esteem. Everyday, you are shown that the promotions are not for you, and they prefer to hire people with working Visas. I have had to process some of my replacements. I'm in school now so that I can start my own business and never have to put up with this treatment every again. Many of their policies were illegal and on the borderline of fraud.

Safe and inclusive workplace – Strong focus on ethics, compliance, and diversity.

Cons

Salary growth can be slow – Compensation increments may be lower compared to market standards. Limited flexibility in role changes – Internal mobility and project switches can take time. Bureaucratic processes – Decision-making can be slow due to multiple approval layers. Project allocation delays – Bench time and delayed onboarding to projects can happen. Variable learning exposure – Skill growth depends heavily on the project assigned. Less innovation in some teams – Certain projects may use legacy technologies. Onsite opportunities are limited – Compared to earlier years, onsite roles are fewer. Performance appraisal transparency – Rating systems may feel rigid or unclear.
