Pros

Intuit has some of the best benefits (financial and health), provides many opportunities for engagement at work, supports diversity and inclusion, and promotes all around wellness. The work itself is top-notch and helps increase your skills. These are some of the smartest, most talented people. If you don't enjoy the work you're doing, you can pivot to another role. Caveat: you will need to advocate for yourself, but Intuit supports this. I love their mindset on helping their employees succeed.

Cons

Different business lines get treated differently. Certain business lines receive more resources, other business lines have to work harder, and other business units are just in the background. This means that skill levels between two employees in different business units at the same level can vary wildly at Intuit. This inequity causes some resentment between the groups. Constant change creates inefficiencies and churn. If something isn't working, Intuit is quick to try something else. While this makes sense, Intuit lacks skill in change management and understanding how this impacts their teams. In addition, these changes are typically only clearly understood by leadership (Director and up) and above and not communicated thoroughly or planned properly for the teams absorbing the changes.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
