Pros

Salary is “ok” Some amazing people, really loved my team. There are some proper gems who are hard working and full of great ideas. Chase is a start up so it’s really exciting. Work on a POD model so you learn loads as each other share experience. Great progression opportunities although… that’s changing and slowing. Some managers are great some are off the wall horrendous. Great stepping stone into JP Morgan for me.

Cons

The culture is toxic, it’s like a dictatorship, an army camp and a real culture of fear. Don’t make a mistake or you will pay! Everyone is out for themselves and it can be really hard to concentrate / settle into your role, which is a shame as there is some great people there. A lot of “support” teams that do little to actually support. Sit about moaning. More money than sense it appears and are happy using that money to keep people quiet. I have heard of sexual abuse, homophobia and discrimination. That’s from the “people” head. Pay outs for people raising complaints and botched HR dealings.

Pros

They treat people well overall. It's all about connecting to others to get anything done, so if you're great with networking and maintaining connections it's a good place to work. Honestly the kindest layoff I've ever experienced, including genuine internal support to find another job. Still doing meaningful DOI work, including some of the best friendly benefits out there.

Cons

If you don't have a highly specialized cyber security skill set or work at a main campus in Texas, Ohio, Delaware, New York or New Jersey don't expect to ever move up the ladder. Staying focused on goals OR successfully communicating strategy pivots seems to be beyond most MDs in Global Technology. They seem to be having a re-org problem at the moment. I had 5 managers in the last 365 days I was there, hardly time to get any work done and then challenged at the end to show impact or delivery, all you can do is shrug and say 'tell me how, when you moved me every 2 months?"
