Pros

This company is a breath of fresh air. Great company culture and environment. Everything from the onboarding to the actual work seems to have been thought out with either great care or from vast experience. Most of the managers and other employees I know are upbeat, and will go out of their way to support each other. The Sales Development Representative position is different than a lot of companies. Very little cold calling or struggling to get through gatekeepers. We develop our lead opportunities through warm leads that have already engaged with our organization through marketing campaigns, web content, tradeshows, etc. Our job is to gain critical insight in our potential customers that provide our sales team solid opportunities. We have an approach that isn't rigid and which we are encouraged to be creative. No canned sales pitches. I looked at many other SDR positions within the Raleigh area and this one by far seemed to provide the best pay (hourly and commission), opportunities, and a low turnover rate. The SDR's that have been here the longest are happy and highly motivated in their roles.

Cons

I wish I had found this career sooner rather than later.

Pros

The people - that is, the actual people doing all the work. I met some of my favorite people ever working here, and it's the only reason I don't entirely regret the experience.

Cons

Some of the worst leadership hires I've seen. And when things didn't work out? They fired them and somehow found even more incompetent replacements, all while pushing out the brilliant people who actually kept JAGGAER afloat. If Vista Equity Partners wants ROI, they should probably start with the outdated tech (don't get me started on "JAI" lol). Or maybe an actual GTM strategy? But no, surely a few more bad exec hires, layoffs, and outsourcing rounds will help you on the next Gartner Magic Quadrant. Fingers crossed!
