Pros
Compensation and benefits are competitive with the market. Work/life balance was good, at least in the area where I worked. Diverse set of product offerings can keep things interesting. There are some genuinely talented, smart and great people who work there - but most of them are very frustrated.
Cons
Some of the senior management team do not have backgrounds in leading an enterprise software company, and unfortunately, this has a negative downstream effect in terms of how to prioritize plans and resources. There is also a very unhealthy internal competitive "us vs. them" atmosphere between some departments, which results in a lot of unprofessional badmouthing and blame-shifting and lack of teamwork. Growth-through-acquisition strategy is causing a lot of chaos and masking many problems. Flat organizational structure means that if you were a VP or Director or Manager in your last job, you are likely to not get the same title here. Lots of big egos.
