Pros

people are dedicated and willing to share experience at KPMG. it feels like school where more senior members on the team assign the tasks to you and check your work when you finish. you learn a lot from the people you work with. And after 1-3 years most people who choose to leave will land on great jobs in financial services, consulting or corporate finance.

Cons

work can at times be very tedious and can seem endless; hours can extend without boundaries when deadlines come up or when a demanding client/partner have an emergent task--this happens, not very rarely, even just within the months when i was interning. you may feel you work as hard as a consultant, or even i-banker, but certainly get paid comparatively less.

Pros

Good Benefits - Get the week of the fourth of July and the week of Christmas off every year.

Cons

They say we are doing well but everyone is stagnant. No real opportunities to get promoted or raises. Gone through 3 layoffs. Management says that no one is leaving because they love working there but no one is leaving because the market is bad. That is the reason for a backlog of folks trying to move up.
