Pros
1. High learning on the job (esp. in consulting) 2. Significant ownership of small work streams up to 1-2 work streams depending on tenure. Even juniors can make a strong contribution 3. High travel. Especially international travel which is not commonplace for MBB 4. Great breadth of exposure across different sectors
Cons
1. Very hectic and stressful job. Comparing this job to others on on hourly basis negates any compensation premium. There are official guidelines in place to address this, however, the practice in case teams differs widely 2. Top talent leaves ATK for better opportunities (i.e. Private Equity, McK/Bain/BCG, startups, corporate jobs etc.)
