Pros

I wasn't looking for a job but a temp service found me. It was low stress. The work was simple.

Cons

The management and supervision lacked direction and the ability to lead. There was no communication between salaried and hourly personnel. The pay was extremely low for the area. The plant had a bargaining unit thus it bound all hourly employees to the bargaining agreement.

Pros

The processes are some of the best and well aligned that I have ever seen in any other company that I've been at. The business is straight forward, uncomplicated and easy to understand how it works. Even when issues arise, they are relatively easy to solve. SAP is a big part of what makes the processes here so straightforward.

Cons

The managers (specifically in supply chain) absolutely ruin the experience of working here. I'm not sure that real leaders (directors, VPs, etc) know how their smaller managers act towards everyone else. It's hard to believe the people in these manager roles were actually hand selected to manage other people when they probably can't even manage their own households. They only thing they're really good at doing is intimidating their subordinates, taking behind their back, and making them feel alienated.
