Pros

Good salary for a beginner Living in Vienna International environment If you go to companies that know LKW Walter's culture, you don't need to convince them that you can work under pressure You can leave at 5:45 every day

Cons

Stress Something always goes wrong, every day Around 40-50 calls per day Managing transport partners is very challenging Being responsible for every Euro, meaning high pressure from management If you arrive twice late, at 8:10 at the office per week you have discussion with your manager about being punctual Firing people is considered as normal I would say try it if you want to be an employee here but be aware of all these cons. After this some comments might be written of good working culture, good career possibilities and so on but you will realize when working there which comment was written by HR and which by "Disponenten"

Pros

The trainee program was good. A few weeks of presentation combined with a few departments that are being visited. The salary is competitive. Good company to have on the CV.

Cons

I think that my experience was subjective and it is very easy to have such an experience at this company, because your work-life balance depends on the higher management that you are under. The promised home office days depend on the higher manager and a lot of other rules depend on them, because he/she has the power to shorten or cut how they want. You either agree with the new rules or you leave. It is a rigid top-down management style as far as I have noticed. If you like a good beginners-salary without any say or opinion in the administration then go for it.
