From what I've heard and read about people working in this type of position, I have to say it was about the same for me. You try your best to not bother anyone and to not cause any trouble and the people I worked with would STILL try to find something wrong with you. There were too many people who constantly felt the need to complain about tiny things and most of them believe they're still in high school and formed cliques with each other. Then, these cliques would come together and try to get rid of anyone they didn't like. Several of them constantly talked about other people in the lab-just because they didn't like them-like everyone else was supposed to care. If anyone they didn't like tried to take up for themselves, the same childish, immature clique would come together and say everything was that person's fault and not the person who was in their supposed clique-who actually took something out of proportion. On top of that, they’ll come up with evil claims about you to make you look untrustworthy and unreliable. Some of these people may have advanced but I’m hoping they will learn eventually from their actions. There are WAY too many unhappy people in this lab and I watched enough people come and go because of it.Don't bother going to the team leader because they're not mature either. They're just as childish as the rest of them and they believe in trying to get even with people. The majority of the people here enjoy causing drama for NO REASON. I wasn't here long and anyone with a mature mindset wouldn't want to be here long either. Going to management didn't help because they were only focused on keeping these same people there to get the work done. Besides, even if you go to them in confidence, they won’t believe you if you don’t have the support they’re looking for, such as enough people supporting you. If you have goals in life and do your best to avoid unnecessary drama, DO NOT WORK HERE. This place is for miserable, unhappy people who believe it's okay to constantly tell hurtful jokes on other people they don't like and be overly rude because they feel like can. Their personal lives are beyond miserable. If you as much as try to defend yourself or make amends over misunderstandings (small and large), they'll do ALL they can to get rid of you. I don't miss this place AT ALL.
