Pros

Good kit overall. My bike was checked for safety and improved if needed for free. Bonuses were competitive, and the work was not too difficult. Easy to sign up for shifts. The company tried to support with access to water and toilets while on shift. Good for keeping in shape and making some extra money.

Cons

The mobile app, Scoober, had problems with sending to the wrong address and sometimes not allowing a job to be completed. There were workarounds, but it caused some stress at first. Sometimes being requested to collect more than one delivery at a time at a restaurant led to a heavier bag than was comfortable. Some of the kit, such as the mobile phone cover, were very weak and broke easily. As I was on a bike, it is tiring work, I did not have an e-bike, so would recommend if moving to longer shifts or for full-time to have an e-bike, scooter, or drive.

Pros

-Freedom. You are more or less left to your own devices as you bike around town with minimum contact with other people. -Schedule flexibility. I pretty much always got the exact schedule I wanted and could get either less or more hours easily if requested. -Ease of work. Orders are usually not so large, the e-bikes make things not so physically demanding. -Coworkers. Most of the people are fairly easy to get along with. The shift leaders are usually very relaxed too.

Cons

-All issues related to the job will involve people you never see. Daily pushing drivers to do overtime. They'll say "just one last order" and that order will bring you to the furthest part of town away from the hub, which is where you need to end your shift. -Refusing to renew temporary contracts and ending them because they don't like you (like when you refuse illegal overtime) and using a random technicality to try and fire you. In my city, now all permanent contracts are a thing so the renewal problem isn't an issue, but that doesn't mean they won't still try to end your contract on a technicality if you inconvenience them, even if that inconvenience is within your legal rights. -I had to join a work union just because of these cons, since my location had a reputation for firing people for poor reasons and said work union forced them to rehire me twice. Either do it for just a year, have a "sir yes sir" work personality, or join a work union if you intend to join them.
