Onboarding was chaotic: I arrived on day one to no colleagues, no ID badge, and no working laptop. Getting equipment provisioned took forty six days. My contract stipulated office attendance "as required," yet I was pushed to meet a forty percent threshold despite having no colleagues or manager on site. The CI pipeline was slow, tests were flaky, and cross-team communication was poor. Knowledge transfer from departing contractors was minimal and unstructured. Leadership didn't proactively support new starters.
