Pros
Nothing. This company is a joke. Although the hiring manager was very apologetic for misselling the role.
Cons
I was just about to start my new role at Lloyds and was excited by all the benefits they were offering. I was really looking forward to meeting my team and getting stuck in on some new projects. However, the hiring manager called me to inform me that my ‘remote’ role will now include 2 days in the office and i’ll no longer have the opportunity to work compressed hours. No thanks. The only reason I accepted the role was to work remotely, as I don’t live near the office and I don’t want to waste my valuable time commuting. I’ve now retracted by offer and found a job elsewhere, offering exactly what they promised. I can’t believe such a huge company is going backwards. I feel so sorry for the people having these benefits taken away who’ve had them for years. Clearly this company doesn’t care about their employees. I’ve had a lucky escape.
