Pros
Fully remote Teammates are great Some managers are great
Cons
The current state of training is deeply inadequate, resulting in widespread confusion among colleagues across the business. Many employees are unclear about their roles and the company's future direction, largely due to radical changes implemented by senior management who have never worked on the front lines. The new "digital first" strategy is proving ineffective, largely because of a poorly designed app and a fundamental misunderstanding by executives of the reasons customers reach out in the first place. There is a significant disconnect between the company's stated values and its actions. While there is a pretense of caring for vulnerable customers, there is a noticeable lack of support for the employees tasked with assisting them. Internal resources intended to guide employees are often misleading and unhelpful. Adhering strictly to official procedures would hinder productivity, forcing employees to rely on colleagues for accurate information. Role clarity is at an all-time low. Employees are left uncertain about their responsibilities from one day to the next, leading to widespread confusion and inefficiency. Leadership is increasingly disjointed, detached, and unreliable. Morale across the company has significantly declined. Teams are frequently reorganized and reshuffled without clear rationale, making it difficult for employees to form stable working relationships. It's not uncommon to have multiple managers and team assignments within a single year. During a recent meeting, senior HR leaders were directed to use a QR code linking to Glassdoor and were encouraged to spend a few minutes writing a positive review. Changes are being implemented not to improve the work environment, but seemingly to create the appearance of action, often to the detriment of employees’ roles. Compensation remains inadequate.
