Business Outlook
Pros
Work life balance is great. Just have to do 40 hours a week (not under, not over). Typically, work load is reasonable and stress is minimal. Interesting work in defense.
Cons
Health insurance is high deductible health plan so it's pricey but they provide a good amount of incentive money into HSA so that helps. Salaries are typically below average (at least for long tenured folks they are). Some projects may use old outdated technology although this has been improving.
