-Work life balance -Benefits are fairly good -Interesting work that serves our country -Ethical working environment -Good people to work with -Flexible work schedule and business casual dress code -Merit increases have been fairly consistent each year, but do not always keep up with inflation or increased cost of benefits
Cons
-Job security is fairly low - Your job is only as safe as the program you are working on and your last performance review. However, if you are willing to move around, you can typically find another job in the company when your current job ends. -Benefits are declining all the time - Cost goes up and value goes down. However, I would say that is consistent trend with most companies. -There is almost no spending on employee moral or team building. Award budgets are similarly small.
