Pros

You'll meet "some" very awesome people to work with. There are also a lot of very passionate employees, some of whom have Diabetes. The work you do makes a huge difference in people's lives. Helping people live longer and better lives is an amazing feeling.

Cons

Lots of politics. You will meet some people, who are complete jerks to put in nice terms. Depending on who your manager is, you will definitely meet Managers, whose job is really about the company and nothing about you. Your life will be a nightmare with such a manager. The manager will probably tried to steer or carve a career roadmap for you you that is really about doing what will make him/her most successful or throwing you under the bus. Some managers are about themselves and could care less about your career. Some managers have no clue about what you do and will provide feedback that are his/her view of what you do without soliciting what you actually did from your peers/team members. I'd recommend detecting and leaving early enough if this happens to you. I left for this reason; have never met a worse Manager/person in my entire life. But there are good people/manager that works there as well, so everybody's experience will be different.

Pros

Incredible benefits as a full time employee, wife and mother trying to grow her family. Minimum of 3 months maternity with options to extend to up to 6 months fully paid. A months worth of PTO with anniversary bonuses.

Cons

Seems to be moving away from hybrid work and remote options.

Pros

There are many non-traditional benefits that help with work life balance. The company’s brand and global reach are undeniable and reinforce the company’s compelling Mission.

Cons

People are expected to deliver above-average results with below-average processes. The stock’s performance has earned this pressure, but there is no obvious, quick path to improvement. Your experience in that corporate environment will depend on your supervisor either being a leader or a manager.
