Pros

1. Kind and caring people, my manager the best one I've had in my career. 2. Change management orientation, if you have an idea and the resources, people are willing to try new ideas. 3. Great benefits and compensation offered even without negotiation at the time of job offer.

Cons

1. Human resources are very difficult to come by, the company runs extra lean on staff, so as a project manager it was difficult to get the resources needed to implement any recommended changes and/or projects. 2. Worst internal transfer policy I have ever seen. You have to stay in your current position for a year (2 years for Sales), you must notify your manager when you start applying internally (and they receive email notice as well from HR) and there is a cap on how much you can increase salary in moving internally (but that cap is only mentioned, not disclosed). 3. Company culture of procrastination rather than planning. Regularly pushing a deadline ambiguously somewhere down the road rather than buckling down to get things done.

Pros

The best company I’ve ever worked for.

Cons

Really can’t think of many. It’s heavily matrixed but that’s to be expected.

Pros

There are many non-traditional benefits that help with work life balance. The company’s brand and global reach are undeniable and reinforce the company’s compelling Mission.

Cons

People are expected to deliver above-average results with below-average processes. The stock’s performance has earned this pressure, but there is no obvious, quick path to improvement. Your experience in that corporate environment will depend on your supervisor either being a leader or a manager.
