      Pros

      The Medtronic mindset is at the fore front of everything they do. They live by their motto and truly care about their end customers

      Cons

      Internally there is a toxic culture when it comes to discussing pay/compensation with management. Conversations related to promotions or higher compensation will be pushed under the rug and can take months or even years to finally come through. They would rather hire external candidates then promote within.

      Really can’t think of many. It’s heavily matrixed but that’s to be expected.

      Pros

      Generous, old-school benefits. Almost twice the PTO as other places I've worked, excellent healthcare, 401K matching, etc. Many high-quality colleagues and a generally mellow, polite business culture.

      Cons

      Multiple competing bureaucracies, internal consultancies, a computer-illiterate 'stakeholder' class with permission to disrupt anything, and perverse incentives driving waste.
