Not serious about UX - Principal Designer Medtronic Employee Review

UX is not understood or appreciated. The company’s leadership has decades of experience as engineers. Because of this, products lag behind the industry in terms of usability and design sophistication. The Surgical OU is particularly bad. I don’t see this changing until the C-suite understands that design is THE difference between winning and loosing in today’s market. Stay away if you want to grow and be taken seriously as a designer.
