Pros

Good office culture, environment and extremely good peer support. People are good and generally helpful.

Cons

Join only if you are a fresher and don't have any other opportunity in hand. The mid level managers who are working here for more than 10 years are the ones who are lazy, inefficient and are stuck here cuz they are not getting a job anywhere else. So, don't expect proper guidance or mentor ship from them as they are themselves not good. Have to work long hours but also it depends on projects. You usually don't have a say in selecting projects the HR will randomly assign you a project which may or may not suit your profile and you'll be stuck with it. management and admin department works like a government company. mid-level managers are not efficient at managing projects. In some projects they are still using CRT monitors. Bad cafetaria.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
