Pros

I joined Nvidia because I believe in Nvidia's vision. In terms of pros, here is my list - Great work to be done here at Nvidia. What Nvidia doing with RTX technology is beyong amazing and it has huge potential to ininvent the whole game industry. And beyond that, it would have huge impact on industries that rely on offline rendering as well. - Nvidia is a company that is not afraid of long term investment. Not like a lot of companies that only do what makes money most in the near future. This puts Nvidia in a unique position domainting the tech industry in certain domains as by the time others realize the importance of the work done here, we are way ahead of them already. - Nvidia is the one company that has most computer graphics experts, especially in the domain of real time ray tracing. Working with the best people is also a nice perk that not a lot of other companies can offer. - Nvidia treats employee really well. This includes company perks, fair compensation, etc. - Nvidia treats employee with a lot of respect. Everyone is equal here at Nvidia and this means a lot to me.

Cons

There isn't that many cons that I can think of, if there has to be - Nvidia has a pretty high bar for hiring. Once you are in, you would be responsible for challenge things. These roles are certainly not for everyone, especiall those without confidence in being qualified for the job.

Pros

Technical excellence and engineering rigor – Working alongside some of the smartest engineers in the industry. Code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimization were taken seriously. Cutting-edge technology – Unparalleled exposure to GPUs, CUDA, AI infrastructure, and low-level systems programming. Truly a place where you can work on problems that define the next decade of computing. Impact – Your work ships in products used by millions of gamers, researchers, and data centers worldwide. That visibility is rare and rewarding. Leadership in AI/ML – NVIDIA is not just riding the AI wave; it’s enabling it. Being at the center of that as an engineer was professionally transformative. Compensation – Competitive salary + RSUs that have appreciated significantly over time. The financial upside for long-term employees has been substantial.

Cons

Internal mobility – Moving between teams (e.g., from automotive to gaming) was harder than promised. Managers sometimes blocked transfers.
