Dear colleague,
As you know, we have ruled out internal project interviews for people who have joined in the last 6 months or those who are new to the industry. But we still have clients who want to meet and even screen the people they will be working with.
We work in several different formats. Maybe 5-10 percent of our business is indeed staff augmentation, typically with strategically important clients only. But a client person having a PO and/or architect role on a project doesn’t make the work staff augmentation for us. We can’t expect a client to hand over, eg, a major flight planning system for us to develop end to end just on our own! Most of our clients are also technical and don’t want to be reduced to just marketing and sales teams. I fully agree with their thinking.
Personally, I don’t think anyone would pay Nagarro’s billing rates for staff augmentation alone. A lot of Nagarro processes and capabilities (eg through the COEs) are always at play. That’s what makes projects succeed and that’s what clients pay for.
