Pros

1. You can become polyglot. There are number of technologies that you can work on. 2. Work life balance is good but as a fresher you have to prove yourself first. 3. Good salary than most of the service based companies. 4. Some very nice people. 5. Onsite opportunities.

Cons

1. Salaries and appraisals are decreasing. Lots of talented people are leaving. 2. There were number of policy changes in the last year due to which everybody in the company is confused. 3. Learning depends on the project you get. You may be developer and still fixing bugs after 2 years. But on the other hand you may work on complex project. Getting good project is luck and fresher’s can't change their projects easily. 4. Some developers are made leads in just 4-5 years and others in 10 years and this doesn't depend on your performance. There is even too much salary disparity between the people in the first and second category and again it is not dependent on your performance. 5. Since appraisals and salaries are not best anymore the quality of good people joining nagarro has reduced. Many of the new people hired don't even have much experience in the technologies they were hired for.

Dear colleague, You raise several points, that are all important and all noted. Some points from my side to explain a little from my POV (assuming from some of the details you mention that you are writing about Nagarro Gurgaon or Jaipur): - Most Nagarrians are comparing salaries and increments with those in previous years, not accounting for the special industry dynamics of much of the last year. Nagarro’s pay policy with respect to the industry remains unchanged, but the industry benchmarks change from time to time and also sometimes we lag a little as we don’t have full visibility. The industry benchmark salaries are picking up now for the best people, and hence so will Nagarro’s. - We are improving our assessments of how people are performing and trying to link remuneration and career growth with this in a stronger way. Some work still remains to be done but a sophisticated data and analytics platform is in place. We are also commissioning AI for use in people enablement. So, request a little more patience. - Many of the people who are leaving today will be back tomorrow. Nagarro has great long-term prospects and a strong, friendly culture. I just came to know of someone who left for a well-known international company but joined back last week. We may have dozens of such cases over the last few years. Finally, I totally agree with you that no one should be rude... On HR not trying to stop people leaving: a challenge is that HR doesn’t want people to ask for a raise by tendering their resignation first - while that may be the only way the employee gets his/her voice really heard :-) it leads to a very sad culture. So HR will often just accept these resignations. Best of luck with whatever you are doing. Thanks for the feedback. And maybe see you at Nagarro again soon! Best regards, Manas

Pros

Very flexible and good for work/life balance. Insurance is fully paid for by the company and doesn’t come out of your check which is a pro.

Cons

For this position, your employment only goes as far as billable hours go. If they are running low on projects, they will give you a 2 weeks notice to look for a project within the company and HR claims they will help you, but in my experience they did not.
