Thank you for taking the time to leave this response. This is the VP who has been 'defending' the company. To be honest, I am not trying to defend anything - just adding my viewpoint about the company on most of the feedback presented here. So, let me try to do the same for your review without sounding too defensive.
Some of your feedback and advice is valid - others I would like to comment on.
The point about old employees being favored and policies framed accordingly: policies and protocols are created to be fair and not favor anyone. This is something the senior leadership feels very strongly about. There is no systematic mechanism through which old employees are favored. Yes, the longer you stay in a company, the more you know the people, so sometimes it can give the impression of there being special policies for older people.
Having said all that, the statement that older people are blockers for the growth of new joiners is far from the state we are in. We are a company which is doubling in size every 3 years or so. At any give time, there are more new people than old people. We have new people at all levels from VP to Trainee. There is no way we can run the company only on the basis of roles held by 'old people.'
With regards to your comments about the salary and salary structure. Yes, we cannot meet pay levels with product companies such as the ones you listed. Yes, as a growing company, we have to continuously review our salary structures and appraisal policies to make them more mature. No, our goal is not to retain employees by simply providing a better salary - we do want the work and culture to speak for itself in making people stay. We do have a lot of people who choose to stay and work at Nagarro despite better salary offers elsewhere.
We have rolled out newer frameworks for appraisals and feedback that should make the overall process more objective and transparent.
Finally, I want to leave a small comment about the project qualities - I am not sure what average means in your comment. But we work for some of the best names in the world solving some of their most critical problems. We work across a broad technology spectrum. It is mostly exciting work.
We are a growing company, and we don't just want to copy how everyone else does things. We want to take the best of what we see out there, and evolve it into what works for us and for our culture. A large number of the senior management team devotes its time towards culture development and organization processes. I expect them to improve continuously.
It is regrettable that you no longer work with us. it is a very exciting time to be with Nagarro. If you would like to give us a second try and want to talk to any of us in the management team before joining us again, please do reach out to us. We would be happy to take the time.
