Pros

The overall work culture was generally supportive and inclusive, and I had the opportunity to work with some truly intelligent and hardworking colleagues. Nagarro’s hiring standards seemed strong, and there were good learning opportunities for freshers. That said, the appraisal system was quite disappointing. Despite putting in consistent effort and delivering results, the salary hikes did not reflect individual performance, which was demotivating over time.

Cons

My time at Nagarro was, unfortunately, marked by a deeply disappointing and distressing experience, primarily due to the conduct of a Senior Manager on a project within the BFSI domain. Despite his seniority and over a decade of experience, his behavior was consistently unprofessional and inappropriate. He frequently micromanaged our tasks and, due to his own unavailability during regular working hours, would call me and my colleague late at night—often around 10 PM—for project updates. This disregard for professional boundaries was unsettling. What made matters worse were the vulgar and inappropriate remarks he would occasionally make, creating an uncomfortable and unsafe environment, especially for us as female team members. In addition, he subtly pressured us into attending unnecessary outings and, on multiple occasions, even asked us to accompany him for window shopping during office hours—activities that were completely unrelated to our professional responsibilities. As freshers in our first corporate role, we lacked the confidence and support system to escalate this behavior to HR. In retrospect, the workplace culture under his leadership was toxic, emotionally draining, and left a lasting negative impression of leadership in corporate environments. However, this experience has also made me more aware of the importance of respectful, inclusive, and professional workplaces, and has strengthened my commitment to advocating for healthier and more supportive organizational cultures.

Pros

Very flexible and good for work/life balance. Insurance is fully paid for by the company and doesn’t come out of your check which is a pro.

Cons

For this position, your employment only goes as far as billable hours go. If they are running low on projects, they will give you a 2 weeks notice to look for a project within the company and HR claims they will help you, but in my experience they did not.
