      Pros

      Pleasant and engaging atmosphere, challenging environment. The company goes out of its way to make sure its employees are happy. Nokia really does its best to really do the 'right thing'.

      Cons

      The usual downsides of a large multinational company - a lot of 'corporate tools' at your disposal for a thousand different purposes. The company structure can seem opaque at first.

      Decent starting salary, good benefits, generous PTO

      Cons

      1% raises forever. Last promotion I got to Principal had no raise but a bump in bonus percentage. Now they are giving kids 8-12% raises and they have less than 5 yrs. Once you hit about 5 yrs you will get the 1% a yr and be pigeon holed into a specific job. Then good luck trying to change.
