With performance ratings, we understand how it can be frustrating to not be rated as highly as you feel you deserve to be. The system may not be perfect, but we're working on making it better and your input is essential. Here's a tip: when you work with your manager to set your goals for the year, let them know that you're looking to be a top performer and ask how you can better word your goals to that they are aligned to your team and the company's objectives. There are resources on our intranet that will help to develop these types of goals. Ask your manager how you can go above and beyond this next year (without working longer hours, of course!), to be recognized as a top performer. Your manager will be glad to help you work toward that goal, and showing your interest will go a long way.
