      Good benefits, low pay - PCT Patient Care Tech Northside Hospital Employee Review

      Pros

      They have really good health benefits, educational benefits such as tuition reimbursements and programs to join to advance your career. Patient rations were good. 4:1 for RN 5:1 for LPN 8:1 for PCT (non critical)

      Cons

      They’re very micromanaging, used cerner while I was there 2023-2025. When asked for a raise for a promotion they only offered me .25 more. The annual pay raise they give is based off hospital overall and unit overall performance. So most of the time it’s less than .25 a year. So compensation is not very good.

      Pros

      A great hospital system to be employed with; I have enjoyed my tenure here. The company embraces transparency and provides good options for their employees to advance within a career assisting with education options and skill trainings.
