Pros

Pay checks came in on time. Canadian counterparts were great

Cons

Worked for 3 years....rollercoaster of a time trying to get minutes. Was having medical issues and took a leave. Got bullied to comr back when I wasn't ready and told over Xmas there would be minutes...which there was not...and then got my contract dissolved 2 weeks after Xmas because of low quantity of minutes....horrible pay...accentus was awesome to work for...ever since Nuance took over it's been nothing but bullying about TAT from uninformed people who don't even do the same work as we and to constantly have more and more stipulations added to your work but never ever an increase in pay...only ever increases in workload expectation. You literally get paid 1.15 a minute for the length of the dictation....not for how long it takes you to transcribe. If it takes you 3 hours to transcribe a 10 minute ESL report....congrats you just made 3.80 an hour for those 3 hours....slave labor. Not a good place to work anymore. Consider other options before applying here.

Pros

The company offers excellent training and a thorough onboarding process, helping new hires feel well-prepared and confident. The small, close-knit teams foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where you never feel lost in the crowd. Employees take pride in the innovative technology and software being developed, which is recognized as impactful within the industry. (Note: The company was acquired by Microsoft to bring potential for future growth.)

Cons

While the company excels in many areas, there’s limited upward mobility, especially in certain career paths, which can be frustrating for those seeking advancement. Additionally, feedback from employees often feels like it’s not taken seriously, which can lead to disengagement when trying to influence change or improve processes.
