Pros
Working from home. That is the ONLY pro.
Cons
I agree with all the negative comments posted. The pay is ridiculously low. I hired on at 5 cents/line, and shortly thereafter, our pay was reduced to 0.375 cents/line. (That’s 27 lines to make $1. Think how hard you have to work to make a decent hourly rate.) There is oftentimes not enough work, and then you are expected to get back on when the docs decide to start dictating, so basically you’re “on call” 24/7. The company avoids paying OT because you have to clock in and out all day when you run out of work (prior to this, they made us lie on our time sheets so the company wouldn’t have to pay OT). There hasn’t been one week without technical difficulties on their end that result in being cheated out of pay. You will never get a raise. If you want more money, put in more hours and work faster. Then you have the typical problems that come with working on production for a service where other employees cherry pick the good reports/doctors and leave the difficult time-consuming ones. I would never recommend working for this dishonest company!
