Pros

* Commuter benefits * Employee stock purchase * Exciting technology

Cons

A toxic culture that has no awareness of its negative actions. During my time at PTC I've witnessed the following actions: * Power struggles resulting in the hoarding of information and data amongst teams in different groups * The inability to conduct constructive confrontation. Instead, those that challenge executives have faced retaliation, both subtle and overt * Lack of racial or ethnic sensitivity. Witnessed a VP making an unethical joke about a person's nationality * Favoritism to those that are "yes-people." In addition, PTC is a very cheap company: * They pay below the industry average, especially for Boston and the Seaport * Bonus is very low * Low investment and caring for people and their career development. Very limited funding for those that want to continue their education * Phone plan reimbursement is low * PTC's 401K match is weak compared to others

Pros

Great people, customers, products. The culture has improved significantly over the past 5 years or so, and now feels like a relatively modern software company. Exec leadership is very good, Neil is fantastic.

Cons

Mid-level exec leaders, VP level, are still very political. Salaries are way below average.
