Pros
PTC has very good benefits, generous PTO etc. The work environment is very flexible, if needed allows working from home. People are smart knowledgeable and nice. Many employees are veterans 5, or 10 years in the company, which is another indication that it is a happy environment to work in.
Cons
Recent years PTC have been laying off employees almost every 6 months. Anytime quarterly earnings reports are below expectations, company's reaction have been laying off people to cut cost. Their product market is saturated and company is having trouble maintaining growth. Last years its strategy is to acquire smaller companies in Internet of Things area and make growth there, but if this doesn't pan out it will be more costly to the company.
