Pros
More laid-back culture than bigger aerospace companies (less hierarchy), good mix of friendly people, and offers fewer but very fair benefits. Can get involved in many aspects of the work which can be much more fulfilling than being pigeonholed into a particular task - you just have to go after it. Workers are more interested in what you can accomplish rather than how credentialed you are.
Cons
Little-to-no training and high expectations of responsibilities - get ready for occasional spurts of long hour weeks and, at times, grinding away (several weeks spread out over the year in response to workload demands). Feels like being setup for failure and left to your own devices - almost a unanimous complaint from new employees but also an expectation perpetuated by the work culture (they'd rather keep this as poking stick rather than fix it with some basic training). Occasionally passive-aggressive management style and some incompetent decision making at the top.
