There are a lot of dedicated employees at the director, manager and coordinator position who want to work hard and do amazing things in their career.
Cons
Leadership is an old boys' club. Regardless of gender, leadership plays into a lot of old school, problematic tropes of "cis white male" culture. Being your authentic self are empty words driven by: toxic work-life balance, racist HR business partners, and results first, empathy last leadership.
