Pros

company car which is standard for job like this.

Cons

This company is circling the drain. By far the worst out of GE and Siemens. They expect new FEs to service equipment that they don't even provide training for anymore and any training they do provide is VERY POOR. Also FE are required to sell products to the customers. YES I'm not even lying FEs have to meet sales quotes if they don't it can negatively impact your metrics. No where else this is done. This is something that is not in the Job application or that is told to you during the interview. You find out after your already onboard. I'm so glad to have left. Hopefully this place is put out of its misery soon and bought by GE. Now lets see what the Philips bots say about this.

Hi there, thank you for looking back at the years you've worked for our company as Field Service Engineer. It's highly appreciated. We're sorry to hear that your Philips experience didn't meet your expectations by far when it comes to the amount and content of the trainings provided and the work tasks that needed to be executed. All Glassdoor reviews are being read by our brand managers and upper management team and all feedback is noted and valued. We'd like to wish you all the best moving forward.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
