Pros

Depending on the store you work in the Primark working experience can be very different. With some managers being great and others not so much. you can make some good friends and the wage is not too bad for the work you are doing. You work your contract so no random shifts if you work 10-2 you will always work that unless you ask to change and only Monday to Friday because they hire separate weekend staff. always lots of overtime so if you need extra cash there's always an opportunity

Cons

No real benefits from working there apart from 10% off for 2 weeks at Christmas. some stores only let you buy things at allotted times in the day as well, so if you're out shopping on your day off you have to wait until the right time to buy something or there wont be a manager around to put it through. Also in most stores just because your contract says you finish at a certain time don't think that means you get to leave then. If its been busy they will make you stay until the shop is tidy for the next day and can be up to 45 minutes extra, you get paid for it but there is no choice in the matter they tell you you have to stay and that's it.

Pros

You get lots of PTO up front as a part timer and can gain flex hours overtime. Get a 50 cent raise every six months.

Cons

Was told during onboarding that if a Christian comes into the store spreading the gospel, I have to kick them out. This includes the mention of the Jesus without the church invite. Managers claim its rude and if a customer does it, they get booted. Faced harassment from a customer and management didn't let me switch too a different department. Extremely high turnover rate and managers don't replace them, making your job more stressful during peak hours. Hard to use PTO. Little to no training. Too many bachelor and master holding part timers who get lucked out of moving up in the company. Managers give some people no task while pilling on multiple tasks on one person. Too many managers to deal with (and usually never find) and the full timers make you do the dirty work while they "unpack boxes". Its a pro-LGBT anti christian company. If they want to be pro-LGBT, than more power to them. But anti-Christian is discriminatory and unnecessary.
