Pros

Large, stable company that is highly respected in its field. Great training for employees and excellent benefits. I've also been told that it's a great resume builder and one can "go anywhere" after spending some time first at P&G.

Cons

Bureaucratic at times. Very process oriented company which can stifle spontaneity and out of the box thinking. Some ideas can't be fully supported by tons of data. In addition, different businesses require different skills and more effort should be made to bring in people that can provide different viewpoints rather than reinforce the status quo.

Pros

Many intelligent people who are experts in their fields who are willing to help and provide advice (if they have time). Decent benefits and pay.

Cons

I mentioned time because many people are stretched and overworked. Work life balance is pretty bad and shows no signs of improvement. A lot of this can be attributed to near useless management. Every project is treated as absolute maximum priority but can still be dropped at a moment's notice. Work processes are horribly cumbersome and slow. Even small changes require many approvals but there are endless demands to "move faster".
