Pros
Once you're in, fairly stable work conditions with good work/life balance. Great history and impressive product portfolio and contributions to science and Engineering. Ok benefits and work load. Great for women as the company is doing an insane hard effort to put women in high places, even when not fully qualified.
Cons
Like working for government, without the government benefits. Lots of politics. Need to be well connected to move forward otherwise you'll stop at a glass ceiling if not connected. Sick and vacation time is the same (PTO). Low bonuses and raises. No longer has a pension system. Company obsessed with Political Correctness including doing a great effort to put women in high places regardless if good or not, causing moral issues. CEO isolated from what's really happening by close minions. CIO running IT like a bank, not a defense contractor, causing lots of harm to the company.
