Pros
Lots of overtime if you like working it. (I do)
Cons
1). Get what you want coming in the door, you will not receive good raises. 2). Receiving exceeds on your yearly review may just mean a level (step) increase but no actual $$ increase. 3). Been with the company 10 years now and it surprises me that it is still in business. From mine and others I work with aspect, there is an inverted pyramid pointing down on us. Company is too top heavy, could capsize at anytime. 4) Received exceeds for several years in a row, average pay increase for the past 10 years is approx. 1.7% - 2.1%. Come to find out whether you do a great job or a mediocre one, increases are the same.
