Pros
Many opportunities on careers, large portfolio of interesting drugs. Multi-cultural environment in particular in HQ Europe. Willingness to take care of employees. Promotion of values and not only of money.
Cons
Unstable senior management. Opportunities very much concentrated in San Francisco. Quality of life of many employees severely impacted following merge with Genentech and Operational Excellence initiative. People much more afraid to speak out. Employees are more encouraged to say what management want to hear independantly of the mid-long term consequences for the company.
