Pros

There are a few great people, who make working there enjoyable (as much as it can be) Many insurance options to choose from

Cons

Some Managers/Directors use their titles/power to bully and belittle those that report to them Work life balance is terrible. Two weeks total PTO is given, and you’re looked upon negatively if you actually use your time. Different rules apply to different people. People are not held to the same company standards at all, varying by department or manager. Performance doesn't matter - all that matters is if your manager likes you. Culture is one of distrust and very negative overall. If you don’t like to gossip, you probably will not do well, as it is a very gossip based culture. Employees are disposable, job security is nonexistent. The turnover rate is off the charts for a small company. There is also very little career growth opportunity

SADA Response
11y
SADA Systems appreciates all feedback and uses it to make changes for the better. Our core values include do the right thing and be one step ahead therefore we would like to respond to this review with data that supports these core values. - Every year SADA starts the year out with an All Hands meeting where the CEO clearly defines the company vision. This year SADA rolled out its Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) to further establish its goals for the year. SADA is committed to its OKR’s following in the lead of companies like Google, Oracle, IBM and Zinga. - There is opportunity for personal advancement for those who show interest and work hard. Employees here must be willing to tackle any challenge. - SADA’s culture promotes personal responsibility and mutual trust. The expectation is that everyone is a contributor. This year, SADA was able to roll out an unlimited PTO policy, allowing employees to have more flexibility. SADA employees work hard and are trusted to know when they can take time off. - SADA’s turnover rate for 2014 was 12% and the objective for the People Operations department for 2015 is to decrease this even further. - Within the last year SADA has promoted 8 mid-level team members to Sr. level positions and 10+ junior team members to mid-level positions within their roles. SADA is dedicated to developing and growing its workforce. It has consistently paid for employees to complete courses and assessments and now has taken this a step further. Recently SADA announced the launch of a new professional development program to encourage the team to improve their skills and expand their knowledge and capabilities by taking courses of their choice.

Pros

There are smart people here.

Cons

I am a high performer, was brought over to help build out a new part of the business only to find out most of the leaders don’t even work on a regular basis. Most people buying their time until Insight finally drops the big axe. Just about every detail of my offer and how the job was explained is a complete lie. I keep hearing about the once great legend of SADA, but it no longer exists.
