Male dominated environment leads to very aggressive styles bordering on bullying. Sales is the focus and marketing is not supported / seen as order takers. Any project is slow to get off the ground as between 7-14 approvals are needed for any level of spend. Finance approvals for projects can take anywhere from 1 week to 1 month. Over 30% of time is spent chasing approvals and filling in extensive process documentation. Little to no market research in certain divisions, lots of internal politics with mid senior levels undermining VP direction. Huge turnover -- most people spend 3-5 years max. in company. No work/life balance. A lot of reporting, days and evenings spent writing and updating reports for the sake of showing work is being done. Company is driven by finance, then sales. Lots of blindspots and short term focus.
