Pros

- Great team to work with, helpful and supportive - Able to learn a lot (fast pace) - Widen your network as you will have to work with other departments - Positive vibe and culture - Training provided (technical and non-tehnical) - Good remuneration despite lacking in profit sharing due to global economy loss - Korean language allowance

Cons

- Too many directions from local leaders and expatriate - Work load and delegations depends on your leader - Efficient workers tend to be rewarded with more works - If you’re in the tough side of the part, workload is unbearable, lots of overtime, less work life balance, on call during weekends - Really fast pace I actually like working here, but it can mentally and physically deteriorate you if you cant catch up (applicable for people in the tough side of the company)

Pros

Medical, vision, and dental insurance are amazing. Many holidays are observed.

Cons

It’s a tech company that feels very against modern tools and automation. Pay needs improvement. Competitors are offering ~20% more for multiple roles. The cultural expectation is that you dedicate your time to the company’s success. This involves never working traditional working hours and always working overtime. Management in HQ controls what decisions are made for America, and decisions are always reactive to risks or failures, rather than proactive to benefit business security, customer retention, and employee workload reduction. Burnout is a very apparent thing here. Every system used is either developed internally, or done manually. This includes manually entering and submitting expenses, mail services are through a Samsung developed mail system, chats are done via a poorly replicated version of Teams, and most things require a long and unnecessary chain of approvals.
