Pros
+ Salary + Some people are really inspired by their work and want to make changes (they are great specialists in their area) + Some departments have really cool projects + Great opportunities if you say words that people want to hear
Cons
- Bureaucracy at every step. Lived several past years with hope that smth will change, but my expectations were not met - Management words differ from reality - A lot of employees in all departments, which makes communication very slow - This employer actively forces you to break his rules to make work done, which is very sad - Opaque compensation system. At the end of the year you get some grade for your work and it may be very subjective (it influences your bonuses) - A lot of under qualified specialists, who do bad work or don't want to work at all - People does not matter. During COVID epidemic middle management in my department had done nothing to protect its employees (remote work is allowed, but it depends on your project, unless you break some rules, or your management will help you to break them).
