Pros
Worked there for over five years, and honestly, the people were what made it such a great experience. I joined before the Snap Inc. IPO, so it was a very fast-paced environment where you had to think quickly, solve problems, and build scalable processes on the fly. That was actually something I really enjoyed, since I thrive in environments where I can move fast, create structure, and help teams scale.
Cons
As the company continued to scale, career growth became more competitive, and promotions were not always tied solely to performance. Like many larger organizations, visibility, timing, and internal dynamics could also play a role—so that’s something worth being mindful of.
